Dr. Sameena Rahman, MD
Sameena Rahman, MD, FACOG, MSCP, IF, is a board-certified OBGYN and Clinical Assistant Professor of OBGYN at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. She has a private practice focused on midlife women’s health, sexual medicine, and menopause care.
After years in academic medicine at institutions including USC, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern, Dr. Rahman built an insurance-based sex medicine and gynecology practice in downtown Chicago. She recently partnered with Ms. Medicine Network, serving as Medical Director for Gynecology and contributing to the educational board for HERmedicine.
Dr. Rahman is an ISSWSH Fellow and serves on its Board of Directors as Scientific Committee Chair. An international speaker, educator, and award-winning teacher, she has published extensively on sexual health, cultural bias in medicine, and women’s sexual wellness. She is also the host of the podcast Gynogirl Presents: Sex, Drugs, and Hormones and the author of the upcoming book Brown Girls Disease?
Dr. Fenwa Milhouse
Dr. Fenwa Milhouse — widely known as "Your Favorite Urologist" — is a board-certified urologist and fellowship-trained sub-specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She made history as the first Black woman to serve as President of the Chicago Urological Society, and in 2024 was honored in the American Urological Association's exhibit recognizing Black Pioneers in Urology. A sought-after international speaker and media personality, Dr. Milhouse starred in TLC's Dr. Down Below and has been featured in Forbes Health, CNN, Essence, GQ, and more. Her clinical expertise spans sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, hormone therapy, and cosmetic genital enhancement — and her mission is simple: destigmatize intimate health, empower patients, and make urology accessible to everyone.
Dr. Kristi DeSapri
Dr. Kristi DeSapri is a board-certified internist and nationally recognized leader in bone health and menopause, with over 15 years of academic and private practice experience at Northwestern and the University of Chicago. She founded Bone & Body Women's Health with a simple belief: midlife women deserve quality time with a provider who truly understands them. A North American Menopause Certified Practitioner (NCMP) since 2010 and an internationally certified clinical densitometrist, she speaks at national conferences, sits on committees for the North American Menopause Society and the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, and trains fellow physicians in bone density interpretation. Her fellowship-level training at the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Specialized Women's Health, combined with her cum laude education at Tufts and medical training at NYU and Lenox Hill, make her one of the most comprehensively trained menopause specialists in the country — and one of the most passionate advocates for women functioning at their absolute best.
Dr. Jennifer Litner
Dr. Jennifer Litner (PhD, LMFT, CST) is a certified sex therapist and licensed marriage and family therapist based in Chicago. She is the founder of Embrace Sexual Wellness, a private practice specializing in relationship and sex therapy, where she and her team help individuals and couples navigate desire, intimacy, sexual pain, and the relational shifts that accompany life transitions, including perimenopause. As a former faculty member at Northwestern University and Adler University, and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor, Dr. Litner is a sought-after speaker and voice in sexual health. She has spoken on topics including desire in long-term relationships, perimenopause and mental health, intimacy during the transition to parenthood, and the impact of cancer on libido. She serves as a medical reviewer for Healthline and several of its affiliated publications, including Bezzy, Greatist, Psych Central, and Medical News Today, and is regularly sought out as an expert by Cosmopolitan, USA Today, Verywell Mind, Self, and the Chicago Tribune.
About the Film
There are 26 FDA-approved drugs for male sexual dysfunction. Two for women. The Pink Pill asks why — and refuses to accept the answer.
This fearless documentary follows entrepreneur Cindy Eckert's decade-long battle to bring Addyi — the first drug approved for female sexual desire — to market. Through expert interviews, personal testimony, and a healthy dose of outrage, the film exposes the gender bias baked into medicine, drug approval, and who the system actually works for.

Hosts and menopause wellness advocates
We have been friends for over a decade. Midlife friends are the best! We have navigated two children, three husbands, ten careers, and a lifetime of adventures. We have tried hundreds of supplements, explored numerous food plans, supported hundreds of clients and friends, shed millions of tears, and shared countless moments of laughter. Through it all, we have learned valuable lessons and discovered the secrets to living our best lives yet.
In May of 2022, we got together for lunch and began talking about midlife s*x! We shared things that we had never discussed before. And why not? Realizing that many conversations about the down and dirty of menopause were not happening, we decided to collaborate and co-author a book on the midlife experience. Our bestselling book Midlife Upgrade, A Girlfriend's Guide to Finding Your Power in the Pause, is available on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Our online community and program are coming soon!
